The man behind this is Danny B, a Spanish producer heavily inspired by masters like Frankie Knuckles, ‪Larry Heard‬ and Kerry Chandler. His 'Find Myself' EP is a collection of 4 original tracks, a masterfully crafted mix of acidy basslines, broken beats, warm pads and dub flavoured stabs, the perfect combination of elements for dancefloor fillers. I carry that Playhouse record with me since 1996. Its one of the first records I bought that somehow stayed forever. I still remember so many moments where this record just saved me and turned an entire party upside down. I think the unreleased track and the Gerd remix are also great and with the quite rare Theo Parrish Remix a very welcome addition to the set. Lovely stuff! Gunther
