Brazilian rising star NØRUS drops his latest EP on Pets Recordings' sublabel STEP. Felipe is the mind behind Yellow Island Records and has already released music for the likes of Gestalt, Nerang and of course his own label.

His next EP 'Denise' comes out on the forward thinking STEP, the label run by Catz 'N Dogz that is releasing some of the best talents within the Global Electronic music scene and that focus on raw music.
Nørus' latest EP 'Denise' is a wonderful mixture of different elements, from broken grooves to straight up drum machine patterns, from dreamy synths to Jazzy melodies.

The collection of tracks sounds intimate and personal: 'Saudade' is a slow but relentless House tune; the title track merges soft and delicate melodies with a straight 4/4 groove; 'It's Raining' fuses broken beats, jazzy bass lines and Funk oriented synths lines whilst 'Sao Paulo' brings back the sun with its bright mood. The EP closes with 'In MY Dreams', which showcases once again the artist's attention to melodies as well as the love for perfectly programmed drum machines.

'Denise' is Nørus' latest EP, landing in July on Step Recordings.
